Woulélaba final set to take place on Sunday

PRESS RELEASE – The 2014 Woulélaba final will take place at the Soufriere Mini Stadium on Sunday November 16.  The finalists are Barre De Chaussee and Belfond.

This is the first time that a Woulélaba final will be played at the Soufriere Mini Stadium and the venue is expected to attract a large crowd particularly as one of the finalists – Belfond will be playing at home.

The 2014 Woulélaba was very competitive with twelve (12) teams taking part in the games.  The teams who participated were Monchy, Mon Repos, Dennery, Desrameau, Piaye, Belfond, Barredechaussee, Sarrot, MornePaul, Ciceron, La Point Micoud and Babonneau.

The Folk Research Centre (FRC) is pleased to have the final played at the Soufriere Mini Stadium as the opportunity will be used to raise funds for the family of the two Belfond players (brothers) who passed away during the Christmas trough last year.
