A 20-year-old Bagatelle woman is currently in police custody after she attempted to smuggle cannabis to an inmate at Bordelais Correctional Facility.
The incident occurred at about 10:12 a.m. on Sunday, September 8, 2013 when the woman came to visit an inmate at the Facility.
During a routine search, personnel attached to the Correctional Facility discovered a small quantity of what appeared to be cannabis concealed in her undergarment.
She was subsequently arrested and taken into custody for drug-related offences.
Charges are expected to be laid against her shortly.

Naive no she have done this before. I think there is a serious problem with these women who for some reason or another allowed these no good men to controle them. 20yrs old. You can do better. You should have no association with him from the time he landed in jail. Come on young girls, stay in school so you can fend for yourselves and be independent. He broke the law and there are no excuses. The minute you start saying "he was a good boy" you will stick in that. And that is exactly what will happen, you will end up as his mule!

Her name cannot be released until she is officially charged. That's the law. She is currently arrested but not charged as the reported stated. Once she is processed, she will be charged and identified.
