PRESS RELEASE – Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort (www.windjammer-landing.com), located on the north coast of Saint Lucia, has completed the first phase of its expansion project including the addition of four new luxury estate North Pointe Villas.
The new North Pointe Villas are part of a US$33 million expansion project at the resort which included a major beach expansion and the creation of The Spa at Windjammer Landing. In addition, the resort has embarked on a US$9 million renovation project upgrading the existing room categories which will include new fixtures and furniture. Many units are also receiving updated kitchens and bathrooms. The first three pairs of Ocean View Rooms have been converted to spacious one-bedroom Ocean Villas.
North Pointe Villas
With the addition of the new North Pointe Villas, Windjammer Landing has raised the bar of luxury holiday standards with four stunning new villas which are available for vacation accommodations as well as shared ownership. Perched on the north end of the Mediterranean-inspired hills in Saint Lucia, the newly constructed two and three bedroom North Pointe Villas are a spectacular addition to the resort.
The North Pointe Villas are the first of 26 luxury villas to be built and are available as upper level or ground level units. Ground level villas feature outdoor showers, generous outdoor living spaces and lavish infinity edge pools, while the upper level villas boast outdoor kitchens and dining areas in a roof top terrace with a sun deck and individual rooftop pools that appear to flow into the ocean.
The interior aesthetic of each villa is contemporary and comfortable. Furnishings feature a Caribbean-style, easy living flair. The texture of natural wood contrasts with limestone floors, crisp white walls and natural shell stone bordering the exterior spaces. These are accented by tropical shades reflected in the artwork by local artists; this rich culture breathes life and personality into the interior space.
“The North Pointe Villas bring luxury vacations to a whole other level – they are truly amazing in every way,” said Mark Ozawa, Managing Director at Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort. “From the beachfront location to the state-of-the-art appliances – and everything in-between – these villas will exceed expectations of all upscale travelers,” added Ozawa.
As a part of its expansion project, the resort added 16,000 square feet of beachfront which included 4,000 tons of sand, three in-water hammocks, 30 towering coconut palm trees, 30 frontal palm trees and more than 1,400 new plants and flora. New tiki huts replaced older versions, 20 sunshade umbrellas were added, and sea turtle safe amber-colored lights were installed on the beach to prevent baby turtles from being confused by bright lights after hatching. The resort continues to enhance its beach offerings on an on-going basis.
