The women’s arm of the United Workers Party (UWP), Women in Action (WIA) said in a press statement today, April 14 that a team from the Supreme Counseling for Personal Development of Barbados (SCPD) will be presenting a quantity of school supplies to students of the Bexon Primary School.

The donation is aimed at assisting students who were affected by the Christmas Eve trough in December 2013. The presentation will take place at the Bexon Primary School, tomorrow, Tuesday, April 15 at 11 a.m.

The school supplies will be presented by the executive director of (SCPD) along with a group of students from six secondary schools from Barbados.

WIA thanked SCDP for its generous donation to the children of Bexon Primary School. The WIA described SCDP as a group dedicated to the personal development of young people.
