Crack cocaine, marijuana, 22 weapons including guns and knives, were recovered during police operations in Gros Islet, Babonneau and Castries on Wednesday, Nov. 21, according to a police press release.
Officers recovered a .38 Revolver, five rounds of live .38 ammunition and 56 live rounds of 9mm ammunition at an abandoned house in Wilton’s Yard, Castries.
No one was arrested in relation to that incident.
At the end of the exercise, police said they had recovered 206 foil wraps of crack cocaine, 644 grams of marijuana and 22 weapons including knives and scissors.
A 27-year-old individual of Babonneau was also arrested for possession of a controlled drug, marijuana, and possession with the intent to supply a controlled drug.
The said individual is expected to be charged later, police said in a press release.
