WASCO expresses concerns at illegal interference with its water network

wascoPRESS RELEASE  – The Water & Sewerage Company Inc. (WASCO)  informs the public that it has noticed deliberate interferences with its water network and installations. The interferences are  in an attempt to deny the public of a regular supply of water.

It is illegal to  interfere with  water networks and installations  and  persons  who are involved in such activities are requested to stop those actions immediately.

The public is also informed that this development has been reported to the police and other public agencies.

With immediate effect there will be continual surveillance of the network and anyone found vandalising and/or interfering with WASCO’s network and installations will be dealt with in accordance with the law.

The public is therefore asked to be vigilant, and to record and report acts of vandalism or interference with the network and installations, to the Police and/or WASCO.

  1. This is theft and unacceptable. Plus peoples health are at risk with this irresponsible behaviour. I would report them if i see any suspicious activity. Wasco please keep trying hard to keep your customers satisfied.

  2. They should have stayed undercover. Why is it a common practice to alert wrong doers before they get caught ? This is like tampering with people's lives. Punishments are very satisfactory.
