Walk for the Cure postponed

PRESS RELEASE – Due to the effects of tropical storm Mathew the CIBC FirstCaribbean Walk for the Cure slated for Sunday October 2nd is postponed until Sunday October 23rd.

The Walk for the Cure is an annual event organised by CIBC FirstCaribbean where proceeds go towards supporting local cancer organisations – The Saint Lucia Cancer Society and Faces of Cancer in meeting their objectives of facilitating cancer patients and their families in receiving cancer treatment, care and support.

Fund raising activities will continue throughout the month of October and the public is invited to show their support by making a donation at all branches of CIBC FirstCaribbean or by signing up to participate in the Walk for the Cure through the new registration website: or via direct deposit to the Walk for the Cure, CIBC FirstCaribbean account # 106995550
