The National Volunteer Coordinating office is thanking all the volunteers who reacted by reporting to the various NEMO outlets around the country following the downpour of rain on Christmas Eve.

“Our office is grateful for the maintained spirit of voluntarism from its members and all other volunteer organisations around the country,” a statement said.

“Without your assistance our country’s response and recovery would be impossible in this timely manner.”

“We urge all of you to continue this effort and encourage others to emulate our volunteers as we continue to return our country to some sense of normalcy.”
