(PRESS RELEASE VIA SNO) – The Vieux-Fort Catholic Parish will be hosting its annual Lenten Mission under the theme: “Living in Stewardship with God”.
The theme was chosen to coincide with the Year of Stewardship in the Archdiocese (2018 – 2020). Stewardship is based on the understanding that all we have and all that we are is a gift from God: our time, our talent, our money and the gift of life itself. Through our stewardship of these gifts, we will “Get connected, because as one mind, one heart in Jesus, we grow the Kingdom of God through Discipleship and Ministry!
The mission begins from 5th March – 9th March with presenter, Fr. Brancker John, from Dominica, beginning on Monday – Grace, Tuesday – Pierrot, Wednesday – Dierre Morne, Thursday – Bruceville, Friday – Vieux-Fort Church.
The Mission continues from14th March – 16th March in the Vieux-Fort Church with our guest speaker Fr. Cleophus Joseph of St. Lucia.
Each night’s session begins from 7 p.m. and includes praise and worship sessions and reflections on the theme. We invite everyone to the mission to experience conversion through the healing power of God’s Love.
