(AVN) – The national political organizations on Saturday defined their position on the ballots for the election of President of the Republic and members of legislative councils and municipal councils, positions that will be elected on May 20th.
In the event, held at the headquarters of the National Electoral Council (CNE), in Caracas, the rectors Socorro Hernandez, Tania D’Amelio, Sandra Oblitas and Luis Emilio Rondón were present.
The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) remains up and to the left, followed by “Movimiento Somos Venezuela”, “Partido Patria para Todos (PPT)”, “Podemos, Movimiento Electoral del Pueblo (MEP)” and “Alianza Para el Cambio”.
In the second line, there are “the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV)”, “Unidad Popular Venezolana (UPV)”, “the Authentic Renewal Organization (RA)” and “the Ecological Movement of Venezuela”. In the third line, there are the organizations “Tupamaro Movement”, “Popular Political Unit (UPP 89)”, “Copei”, “Progressive Advanced”, “Movement to Socialism (MAS)” and “Hope for Change”.
The independent candidate Luis Alejandro Ratti, nominated to the Presidency of the Republic, also chose his position.
Likewise, the indigenous organizations “Indigenous National Council of Venezuela (Conive)”, “Indigenous Parliament of Venezuela (PARLIVE)”, “Evolución Indigenous Association, Guaicaipuro Chair Civil Association”, “Bolivarian Indigenous Socialist Organization of Venezuela” and “the Movement of the Indigenous Peoples of Venezuela” chose their Position on the ballot for the election of state and municipal legislators.
More than 20 million voters are called on May 20th to choose the president of the Republic, while more than 18 million will choose state and municipal parliamentarians.
