

Two drivers received minor injuries at about 9:45 this morning, Monday, Nov. 5 after their vehicles collided on the Mon Repos Escape Road.
The drivers have been identified as 49-year-old Sanders Nelson of Lance Road, Castries and 46-year-old Jerome George of Ciceron, Castries.
Nelson was driving a Toyota Hilux 4X4, four-door vehicle with registration number TE2733, while George was driving a Mazda 4X4 four-door vehicle with registration number TD492.
St. Lucia News Online (SNO) understands that George was travelling on the Mon Repos road in the direction of Micoud and was about to make a right turn onto a dirt road when he was hit from behind by Nelson’s vehicle.
The impact sent Nelson’s vehicle airborne.
Both vehicles were extensively damaged. Police are investigating.
