(SKY NEWS) – A van driver who drenched pedestrians by driving through large puddles has been sacked after a video of his antics appeared online.
He was filmed deliberately veering towards large puddles during a storm in Ottawa, Canada last week, splashing three pedestrians with rain water.
A short clip has been watched hundreds of thousands of times online.
The driver’s employer, building firm Black and McDonald, said his actions were “unacceptable”.
“We want to reassure the public that safety is our #1 priority. This is an isolated incident and the individual is no longer employed with Black & McDonald,” the company said.
Police have decided not to press charges.
