PRESS RELEASE – In light of the recent Agriculture Bill which was presented in the House last week Tuesday and the alarming problems affecting farmers in Micoud and environs, the United Workers Party (UWP) will, on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, host a very special meeting with all farmers in Dennery, Micoud and Vieux Fort/Black Bay.

This meeting will seek to assess the recovery works done since the passage of the Christmas Eve trough of December 2013. It will also afford farmers the opportunity to share their ideas with the Party to see how best assistance and relief can be secured on their behalf.

The meeting is set to commence promptly at 4 p.m on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the Ti Rocher Multi-purpose Centre.

The Party extends an invitation to all farmers to attend this very special meeting.
