UWP mourns passing of former senator

The United Workers Party notes with great sadness the passing of former senator Mr. Austin Anthony Glasgow, after a period of illness.

Mr. Glasgow was a former government senator of the Upper House of Saint Lucia. He also served as a past treasurer on the executive of the UWP.

The United Workers Party expresses its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Glasgow. And it also grieves at the lost of its long-serving member. He will surely be missed.

May he be laid to rest in perfect peace.

NOTE: The funeral service for Mr. Glasgow will be held on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. at the Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception.
