UWP and Castries South-East parliamentary representative sympathize with relatives of Taemoo Eugene

The United Workers Party joins with Parliamentary Representative, Hon Guy Joseph in expressing deepest sympathies to the relatives of Ms. Taemoo Eugene who was murdered in very unfortunate circumstances during the afternoon of Friday, 7th, September, 2012.

Ms. Eugene’s murder adds to the recent spate of shameful and senseless crimes which have resulted in the lost of innocent lives. We share in the grief of the affected relatives and indeed the entire nation as we grapple to contend with the recent upsurge of deadly crimes and provide appropriate responses.

The community of Forestierre and the Gajadhar families have been visited with grief over the past week with the passing of Mrs. Heraldine Rock and now St Lucia’s latest murder victim in the person of Ms. Taemoo Eugene. Ms. Euguene was a long standing employee of Mr. Webster Gajadhar (Senior) who she worked for as a housekeeper. Mr. Gajadhar was the brother of the late Heraldine Rock.

From all reports Ms. Euguene was a well liked member of the community who possessed a very jovial spirit. She will surely be missed by the entire community.

The United Workers Party along with Parliamentary Representative, Hon Guy Joseph stands in solidarity with and shares the grief of the family of Ms. Eugene, her friends, the Gajadhar family and the entire community of Forestierre.

May her soul find peaceful rest.
