(PRESS RELEASE) — A team from the University of the West Indies, Saint Augustine Campus is visiting the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College (SALCC) from April 15-17, 2019 to speak to the issue of the franchise arrangement between the two institutions.

The relationship has existed for almost 30 years and is due for renewal.

The Saint Augustine Campus is represented by Professor Anne Marie Bissessar, dean – Faculty of Social Sciences; Dr. Cheryl Boodram, deputy dean; the senior administrative assistant and secretary.

The four-member team will meet with the administration of the College, the lecturers and heads of department of the programmes which are taught through the franchise, and current and prospective students.

The Sir Arthur Lewis Community College offers the first two years of the bachelor’s degree in the Faculty of Social Sciences in the following disciplines: accounting, economics and management.
