USAID funded CFYR program continuing YSET interviews in schools and communities

(PRESS RELEASE VIA SNO) – The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funded Community, Family and Youth Resilience (CFYR) program supports family networks, communities, service providers and government agencies to implement successful approaches to reduce youth involvement in violence and increase opportunities for youth in Saint Lucia, St. Kitts and Nevis and Guyana.

The Youth Service Eligibility Tool (YSET) interviews will be conducted by the Central Statistics Office to help identify potential beneficiaries of the Family Support Service that will be provided with support from the CFYR program.

Family Support Service activities will be provided in areas of Castries Central and Marchand, Dennery, Soufriere, Anse La Raye and Vieux Fort, having received approval from the Government of St. Lucia to work in these communities.

The YSET interviews will continue in schools and communities through March 2018. For additional information, please contact CFYR at 453-0398.
