Relatives of Calvin Joseph, one of two young men who were seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident in Marisule on Saturday, March 16, are appealing to the public to continue to pray for Calvin’s quick recovery and help bring the perpetrator to justice.
“He is still in ICU (Intensive Care Unit) but he has improved a little. He just needs prayers and God will do the rest,” a relative told St. Lucia News Online.
Reports are that Calvin, an 18-year-old resident of Pavee Road, in Castries, was the pillion rider. He sustained life-threatening injuries. The rider of the bike, 24-year-old Kyle Joseph, also of Pavee Road, Castries, is in stable condition at Victoria Hospital.
The riders are not related. The accident occurred between 3:00 and 3:30 am.
Police said no one has been arrested for the incident but investigations continue.
