Eighteen-year-old Stephon Joseph of Pavee, Castries, who is charged for the attempted murder of 15-year-old Felicity Florton of Carielle, Castries, has been granted bail.
Joseph appeared at the First District Court in Castries on Monday, June 16, 2014. The police prosecution did not object to bail for Joseph. However, requested that Magistrate Christine Phulchere set strict bail conditions for the accused.
He was granted bail in the sum of $6500 cash or land surety.
His bail conditions include not interfering with Florton or her immediate family and reporting to police every Wednesday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Joseph is also required to surrender an identification card, since according to is mother, he does not have a travel passport.
