  1. Nobody wins in incidents of dosetmic violence, particularly tragic ones. However, to say that Saint Lucian men like to hit women or that they cannot deal with rejection is quite unfair. That type of behavior among men occurs all over the world and in all walks of life. We seem to have a very bad habit of equating our Saint Lucian brothers with everything degrading as if they are the only men in the world with the capacity to do evil. What we ought to realize is that a man is a man whether he hails from Timbuktu or Saint Lucia and all men have the propensity lose control. Let us say, some men cannot deal with rejection.

  2. Send them to cook for a while in a cell with the snakes at Bordeleau. Or have public flogging like done elsewhere in the world. Then they'll learn.
