St. Lucia News Online can confirm that one person is dead and another seriously injured following a vehicular accident in Magretoute, Micoud this afternoon, involving a truck and a bus.

The deceased is a female resident of Laborie. She was in her early 20s.According to reports she was travelling in the back of the omnibus when it collided with a truck.

A male also sustained serious head injuries in the accident.
