Unidentified body discovered at Anse Ger Beach

On Monday, April 22, 2013 at about 6:30 am, officers attached to the Micoud Police Station were summoned to Anse Ger Beach, Desruisseaux.

On arrival, they discovered a male individual lying face down on the shore. He was wearing plaid shorts over grey undergarments. He appeared dark in complexion. His face was partially disfigured due to what appeared to be burns on the body.

He was taken to St. Jude’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The officers are yet to ascertain the identity of the said individual. A post mortem examination will be performed on the body to determine a cause of death.

The police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of this individual.

  2. Isn't he one of the persons who were on the canoe that sunk at TrouSardine (Mon Repos) on Sunday? From what I hear, from the grapevine, there was one from Barbados and two from St. Vincent on the canoe.

  4. Yup.......crime in st lucia evolving now. Lot of dead bodies being discovered, no suspects and no motive smh
