(PRESS RELEASE) — On Friday, February 22, 2019, Eco Adventures St. Lucia Tours, in collaboration with BelleCarib, will be hosting the annual Cross Country Independence Hike.

The theme for this year’s hike is “Uncover St. Lucia”.

Join fellow hikers, nature lovers and fun-seekers from all across the island in uncovering our beautiful island! Explore unbeaten paths and take in amazing never-before-seen views of our beautiful home.

Hike above and below the trees— birds chirping— experience blasts of pure mountain breeze! It’s going to be an all-around fun day!

Route

We will start off in the beautiful town of Soufriere, hike through Diamond and arrive at Esperance, Fond St. Jacques; we will then proceed to the Rainforest with great views of the Pitons and Mount Gimie, and hike back to Soufriere via Zenon trail.

Great stops along the way!

Transportation to and from Soufriere will be provided for participants in the north and south of the island.

This event is an eco-friendly event so participants are encouraged to bring along their reusable water bottles and refrain from bringing plastic bags.

St. Lucian flags and bandanas welcome!
