Saint Lucia has been awarded two high profile swimming coaches and officials clinics for early 2014.

The island has received FINA swimming officials clinic (intermediate level) for February 6-10 in Gros Islet, and the FINA swimming school for judges in Gros Islet from April 4-5.

The awards are through the Saint Lucia Amateur Swimming Association.

World swimming governing body FINA received a list of 2014 clinic proposals from the five continental swimming associations for the 2014 FINA Clinics Programme.

Invitations will be sent to the FINA federations in the Americas for participants in both clinics and the association will be required to arrange accommodation, transport and organisation for the clinics. Primary funding will be made available through FINA.
