NEW YORK DAILY NEWS – Donald Trump has surged ahead of Hillary Clinton in two key swing states and is tied with her in a third, a slew of new polls out Wednesday showed.
Trump now leads Clinton in Florida and Pennsylvania — a pair of pivotal battlegrounds — according to polls released by Quinnipiac University.
The unpredictable tycoon is beating his November opponent 42%-39% in Florida and 43%-41% in Pennsylvania, the polls showed.
The results mark a huge swing from Quinnipiac polls last month, which showed Clinton ahead of Trump in Florida 47%-39% and in Pennsylvania 42%-41%.
Another Quinnipiac survey released Wednesday showed the pair of politicians tied in the swing state of Ohio, with both receiving 41% support.
