Trinidad: Students beat teacher over scratch bombs

(TRINIDAD EXPRESS) — A teacher at the Barataria South Secondary School remained in hospital last night after he was beaten by several pupils after he found them detonating scratch bombs on the school’s compound Wednesday.
Police said around noon that day the teacher heard the scratch bombs going off and confronted a pupil he had spoken to earlier.
