Trinidad: Cops kill two in Malick ‘gunfight’

(TRINIDAD EXPRESS) – TWO men were killed by police on Thursday morning.

They died during an exchange of gunfire with police officers at Seventh Avenue, Malick.

They were named as Nkosie “Mauby” Mitlan and Obika “Beaker” Roberts.

At around 7.15 a.m. officers went to search a house when there was gunfire from inside the premises.

Officers returned fire and when they entered they entered, found two men with gunshot wounds.

The suspects were taken to hospital where they died.

Police say they recovered two revolvers at the scene.
