(TRINIDAD EXPRESS) — Eleven firearms and a large quantity of marijuana were seized in an ‘Operation Strike Back’ exercise in East Trinidad on Tuesday.
Police said the firearms and drugs were found in a forested area at Gordon miller Settlement, North Oropouche Road, Sangre Grande.
The drugs were packaged, wrapped in plastic, and stashed in crocus bags.
Police said the firearms were found in a six-inch pipeline buried in the ground.
No one was arrested in connection with the find.
