The successful male and female Promotional Ambassadors and Models will be the faces of TOXIK Nation`s 2013 portrayal “A Global Fantasy”.
They will appear on all TOXIK Nation 2013 branded material, promotional events and on the road come carnival Monday and Tuesday.
Auditions will take place this coming Saturday January 19th from 5 PM – 8 PM at the Conference Room of the Cultural Development Foundation (CDF) at Barnard Hill, Castries.
Founder and Band Leader Mr. Jason Hullingseed explains this Saturday’s auditions are an important component of the ongoing re-branding of TOXIK Nation.
“We began the re-branding exercise last year and quite a few things have change in our efforts to improve the TOXIK Nation experience. We have developed a new logo which will be launched shortly and generally revelers and sponsors were very pleased with the improvements last year. The 2013 Promotional Ambassadors and Models form part of that ongoing transformation as we seek to raise the bar even high this year. So we appeal to serious young people who are interested in being a part of the TOXIK Nation brand to come out and rip the runway this Saturday at the auditions”.
Ladies interested in being a part of the audition are asked to walk with a pair of heals and a two piece swim suit.
Gents will audition in short pants.
All models will audition in front a special panel and will be notified of their selection upon completion of the exercise.
The TOXIK Nation Auditions for 2013 Ambassadors and Models will begin promptly at 5PM on Saturday January 19th all are asked to be on time.
ABOUT TOXIK NATION
The band was launched in 2008, upon recognition of the need to offer carnival lovers an alternative and unique carnival experience. That experience however is not limited to the two days of street parade. The band leads the way on the island by being the only carnival band to have carnival related activities all year round.
“Bacchanal by the Bay” held every Sunday at Choc beach has not only provided tremendous exposure for the band but also increase a general appreciation for carnival.
The event has grown by leaps and bounds attracting in excess of 300 patrons weekly. Over the years the band has also become well known for its annual “Round the Island” which climaxes at the launch of Dennery carnival. This year the band has and will continue to unveil to St Lucia several innovative ideas.
TOXIK started off in 2008 with approximately 350 revelers and grew in 2011 to over 650 revelers. This year marks the band`s fifth anniversary and as such we have re-branded the product as TOXIK Nation. The band consists of young professionals and prides itself as a party band where every reveler is treated like VIP. Over the years TOXIK has kept its sponsors happy with innovation and quality.
These sponsors include LIME, Campari, Windward and Leeward Brewery (WLBL) and Piton amongst others. TOXIK Nation is committed to the growth of St Lucia`s carnival.
