Tourism Training and Certification Programme begins Monday

PRESS RELEASE – The Ministry of Tourism, Heritage and Creative Industries wishes to inform tourism transport drivers that the Tourism Training and Certification Programme begins Monday, January 25, 2016.

Sessions will be conducted at the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College’s locations in Castries and Vieux Fort.

All approved participants who were contacted by the Ministry of Tourism are asked to register with the College as soon as possible.

Please be reminded that the registration fee of $300 must be paid before attending registration at the College.

All remaining tourism transportation drivers are encouraged to submit their information to the Ministry to be enlisted into the programme.

The Ministry would like to emphasize that participation is a requirement for all drivers as stipulated by the National Tourism Transportation Policy.

Without this training, drivers will not be licensed by the Ministry to operate in the sector.
