Three injured in three-vehicle collision on Vide Boutielle Highway


Three persons sustained injuries due to a three-vehicle collision that occurred this morning on the Vide Boutielle Highway, near Home Depot and American Drywall.

The three vehicles involved were: omnibus (registration number M1100) belonging to Alison Wilson of La Clery; motor car (PC 6737) belonging to Kurt Phillips of the Morne and omnibus (M683) belonging to Lorie Osmond of Grande Rivière, Dennery.

Acting Inspector of Traffic Dexter Cumberbatch told St. Lucia News Online (SNO) that traffic officials reached the scene at about 10:45 a.m.

The official said the injured persons were transported to Victoria Hospital for treatment.

  1. I would support you private. Very stupid and rude. Threaten some kids two weeks prior just because they refuse to board his bus. Even took pictures of them sayinh jow he is going to get them. Thats about his second or third accident and he also lie to get out. Mini bus association should look into these

  2. I hope the drivers license of the slim bus driver with locks is revoked - I swear such a reckless and ignorant bus driver should not be allowed to drive a vehicle on our roads.

  3. Saw what transpired and is concerned about the passenger who was in the car. Hope he is recovering. This accident could have been avoided if only our drivers take their time especially during rush hours.

    • how would they reach there earlier? did you see the traffic? the police don't have a helicopter you know. Did you notice that the traffic was backed up from the bridge near the traffic lights by the fisheries to by M&C?

  4. hope they are not too badly hurt. they drive too fast....i almost got killed trying to drive there once. my prayers with everyone.
