PRESS RELEASE – On Thursday January 7th, 2016, with the intention of ‘giving back’ to our community, newly appointed General Manager of The Landings St. Lucia, Wilbert Mason, presented a cheque to Bannah Suffren to further the schools’ grooming programme.
The Community Outreach Hygiene & Grooming Service Project, partnered with Cutty Ranks Barber Shop, provides grooming assistance and instruction as well as hygiene best practices and awareness to young people throughout the communities and school districts.
Mr. Wilbert Mason stated “we will definitely continue to support this initiative and, as time goes by, we will do whatever we can to assist. The initiative was something the previous board of directors started and I believe it is a great programme. As a business, we have our social responsibilities and I consider that giving back to the communities and giving back to the youth will be something that can impact them and their education in a big way.”
‘Cutty Ranks’ believes that it is important to focus on the youngsters, especially those who come from troubled homes. He stated “It is something I will continue to do by God’s grace as long as the support is there”.
The Landings St. Lucia is proud and privileged to be part of this project and looks forward to continuously building relationships with other partners dedicated to supporting the communities.
