PRESS RELEASE – Over the past week members of the National Volunteer Programme have been very supportive of a number of programmes in the country.
The National Volunteer Coordinator, Mr. C J Saltibus would will like to thank all volunteers in the South of the island who volunteered their services to the Saint Lucia National Trust Youth Environmental Forum, “Walk the Freedom” Emancipation Day Event hosted by the Southern Chapter of the Saint Lucia National Trust and the seventy-eight (78) volunteers who made St. Lucia proud again during the Limacol Caribbean Premiere League (CPL) games in St. Lucia.
We are very thankful to the CPL local Volunteer Coordinator, Ms Anya Edwin for giving us the opportunity to assist in showcasing St. Lucia’s best.
Mr. Saltibus urges all St. Lucians who have not been registered as part of this growing set of patriotic St. Lucians to call our office at 468-2125/ 468-2111 or email us at [email protected] to become a member.
The Coordinator also wants to use this opportunity to inform all national volunteers to be on the alert during this hurricane season but pray that our country is saved from any event which can cause disasters.
