(PRESS RELEASE) – The public is informed that the Central Library is closed temporarily to facilitate repairs and remediation works necessary to improve physical conditions and the general environment for patrons and staff.

The Ministry of Education, Innovation, Gender Relations and Sustainable Development and staff of the Central Library regret any inconvenience caused by this closure and thank you for your patience.

Normal library services will resume on completion of all repairs and remediation works. In the interim, patrons are asked to use the services of the Marchand, Monchy, Babonneau and Gros Islet Libraries.

  1. AA that library still dere. I thought rituals was the national library seeing as that's where everyone studies.

  2. Sadly, we have never had other than moronic government which continue to allow the facade of that part of the building generously funded by the MAWD (Manitoba Association for World Development) from Canada, stills remains today as an odd man out.

What is wrong with this country's sense of aesthetics?

We have already seen the mismatch with the loud inclusion of nationalistic art in a Baroque structure. Now we have this historical building falling into disrepair. We have had so many oafs in leadership positions in the country. These people have no real sense of value and worth.
