A 16-year-old female who was questioned by police in relation to a recent homicide in Bagatelle was formally charged with causing death of the 57-year-old man.
The teen, whose identity, by law, cannot be revealed, made a court appearance today, Wednesday where the charge was read to her.
She was further remanded at the Marchand Police Station.
The teenager is being represented by Attorney-at-Law Marcus Foster, who told reporters that an application for bail has been submitted, and said he expects that there should be no objections.
Until such time, the teenager will remain in police custody and is expected to make another court appearance on March 10, 2016 for case management.
She is accused of killing Paul “Bams” St. Rose,57, of Bagatelle, Castries, who was discovered in a seated position with stab wounds to his upper body on January 28, about 2:50 a.m.
