TRINIDAD EXPRESS – The Tobago Jazz Experience climaxes this weekend and while many focus on the various events at the Pigeon Point Heritage Park, some folks are more excited over the events taking place on the beach at the Mount Irvine Bay Resort’s, “Jazz On The Beach” tomorrow and Sunday.
This is the 10th edition of the signature event where the real jazz music of the entire festival can be found.
For the past decade hundreds have invaded the beach, never minding being crowded in to enjoy great music served up with delicious food and lots of drinks to keep all and sundry happy. There are in fact some people who never even set foot on Pigeon Point and they will still tell you they had the time of their lives right there at Mt Irvine all weekend long.
This year the event features the living legend from St Lucia, Jazz guitarist, Ronald “Boo” Hinkson who although he has not been in Trinbago for a while, is considered by local musicians to be a Trini boy.
