Suspected suicide at Soufriere (police release)

suicide21-233x300PRESS RELEASE – Police were summoned to the scene of a suspected suicide on Church Street, Soufriere, on Saturday, April 1, 2017.

Eustace Jean, a seventy three (73) year old resident of Church Street, Soufriere, was found at his residence, suspended from a rope by the neck.

He was subsequently pronounced dead by a medical practitioner.

A post mortem examination is to be scheduled for a later date.

The circumstances surrounding the death are currently under investigation.

    • Typical small minded individual. Before you repeat what you HEARD from people like Juke Bois or the gossipers of Soufriere who would exaggerate any little piece of news heard or information received, get the facts! It is sad that the children had to lose their father in such a manner but be assured he was WELL TAKEN CARE OF and this is because I know the family personally. Of course children grow older and have to live their own lives but their father was their NUMBER ONE PRIORITY since the passing of their mother 6 years ago. So, before you make your uneducated comment, KNOW THE FACTS!
