Members of the Vieux Fort Drug Squad this morning discovered 15 blocks of suspected cocaine on a minibus early Monday, Jan. 18, 2016.
The vehicle is allegedly owned by a police corporal, according to reports.
The bus, which was heading towards Castries along the Castries-Vieux Fort Highway, was intercepted by the cops this morning around 4:10.
Three males including the driver, who is reported to be from New Development, Soufriere, were on board.

The mini bus once belonged to a Corporal, it was sold to the new Owner who was caught with the illegal substance.

I guess the minibus owner’s defence would be that he had no knowledge of what his driver was transporting or this was an attempt to frame him because of IMPACS.
St. Lucia depends on the economic benefits of the cocaine trade, many of the larger business establishments are fronts for the snow.
As long as you know that...
