



St. Lucia’s Marbeq Edgar has won the silver medal in the boys under-20 1500m final in 4 minutes, and 1.75 seconds at the Carifta Games, now underway in The Bahamas.
Mark London of Trinidad and Tobago won gold in 4:01.07. Jamaica’s Chadoye Dawson finished third in 4:04.14.
St Lucia’s Talberc Poleon finished a creditable fourth in the boys under-20 400m final in 47.45 seconds.
The event was won by Trinidad’s Machel Cedenio in 45.93. Jamaica’s Jovan Francis finished second in 46.01, followed by Bahamas’ Stephen Newbold in 46.01.
