(PRESS RELEASE) — Zouks are stuff dreams are made of and they certainly made the dreams of several hundred primary school students come through on Thursday 26 September. Jahmar Hamilton, Keddy Lesporis and Andre McCarthy of the St. Lucia Zouks went on a road tour across three schools in St. Lucia.

Pupils of the Babonneau Secondary School; the Balata and the Dame Pearlette Louisy Primary schools each received a surprise visit from the Zouks players. Accompanying them on the visits were members of the CPL team as well as representatives of the St. Lucia Tourism Authority. Students participated in trivia sessions with the players receiving special prizes inclusive of lunch and of course tickets to the final home game.

Sue Monplaisir, Marketing Coordinator for Hero CPL, said: “It’s important for us to connect with the future of the Caribbean and this is one way in which we can really make an impact if only for a couple of minutes. I’m not sure who enjoyed the visit more, the students or the players but it was definitely appreciated ahead of our final home game tomorrow.”

The St. Lucia Zouks will faceoff with the Jamaica Tallawahs on Friday September 27 at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground. It will be the Zouks final home game and crucial to their chances of making the Hero Cpl 2019 playoffs. The game bowls off at 8pm.
