St. Lucia ranked number one in best resorts in the Caribbean

St. Lucia continues to receive high accolades for its thriving tourism sector and its hotels have continuously been ranked as some of the finest in the Caribbean.

Nine of St. Lucia’s hotels have claimed spots in the luxury travel ideas and guides and UK’s leading travel magazine – Condé Nast Traveller- 50 Best Resorts in the Caribbean: Readers’ Choice Awards 2014.

St. Lucia’s Jade Mountain Resort was voted as number one with 94.834 per cent.

Coming in on sixth spot was Ladera Resort with (92.379), at 13 is Cap Maison (90.234), 17 Anse Chastanet (88.787), 22 Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort (87.037), 26 Capella Marigot Bay (85.115) and at 31, The Landings (84.095).

The two final spots for St. Lucia were 42 Sandals La Toc Golf Resort & Spa (82.192) and at 46 Sandals Halcyon Beach (81.812).

  1. Way to go St. Lucia. Please take note of the hotels at the top of the list. Most of the winners are the smaller resorts, this says something. Sandals at #42 wow. My years working at the hotel which was 14 odd years ago at then Club St. Lucia, it was a joy going to work. Hard work was never a concern. Giving of you best was what we knew and we did it beautifully and yes, we were paid well and taken care of by our directors. It was like family then. Such exist no more. Thanks Mr. Gobat and Mr. Stewart.

  2. The death of a child is the worst thing that can happen to a human.the road ahead will be filled with painful emotions. Alot of UN answered questions.what ifs why.time is a slow healer especially in the case of ones own child.God gives us hope of a resurrection take comfort in that.revealation 21 verse 3 and 4

    • A lot of the hoteliers are not being paid enough for what they do. Through their service and hospitality, St. Lucia gains but a lot of those staff are under paid
