St. Lucia is hoping to retain the Miss Caribbean Tourism Queen Pageant title when the event is held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Carnival Village in Basseterre, St. Kitts.
Louise Victor, 22, has been selected by St. Lucia’s Lady J Pageant Coaching and Consulting Committee as the island’s representative.
Victor, described as a stunning 5’11 beauty by the Committee, has been participating in pageants for the past four years.
In 2012 she was selected by Lady J Pageants to compete at the Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant held in Nevis where she placed second runner-up and also captured the Best Swim Wear award.
“Janice Barrow-Dupal, pageant director of Lady J Pageant Coaching and Consulting, is very confident that Miss Victor will make St. Lucians proud,” a press release stated.
Victor, a full-time student at Monroe College (St. Lucia Campus) from 2010, is majoring in business management and a minor in marketing.
She will graduate from Monroe College in October 2013, a few days before departing to participate in the Miss Caribbean Tourism Queen Pageant.
This year’s pageant will be held under the theme “Caribbean Beauties Coming Together As One Nation”.
Eleven countries will compete for this prestigious title now held by St. Lucia. The delegates will compete in seven segments, five of which will be judged.
Consuelo Dupal won last year’s title along with the Best Evening Gown award.
