(PRESS RELEASE) — The St. Lucia Civil Service Association (CSA) will hold its election of officers on Wednesday, November 11 2020.
The elections are constitutionally due every two years and was originally scheduled for April 2020 but had to be postponed because of the uncertainty which surrounded the COVID-19 pandemic at the time.
All the positions on the Executive Council will be contested and this year a total of 15 individuals are vying for the various positions: president, three vice presidents, secretary, treasurer, assistant secretary/assistant treasurer and three trustees.
For the convenience of members, there are 11 polling stations strategically located across the country to facilitate voting by members. Members are able to vote at any of the designated polling stations which will remain open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
