St Jude Hospital responds to NWU ultimatum

(PRESS RELEASE) – Mr. Andrew Piltie, Human Resource Manager at St. Jude Hospital has replied to the National Workers Union’s (NWU) ten (10) day ultimatum on behalf of the Management of St. Jude Hospital.

Management of the St. Jude Hospital is prepared to engage the NWU on Friday February 1, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Vieux Fort.

The NWU has informed the Management of the Hospital of its acceptance of the suggested date and looks forward to the establishment of a scheduled period within which all outstanding matters could be amicably resolved.

The NWU said that it has an extremely good relationship with the Minister of Health, Senator the Hon. Mary Isaac and Chairman of the Board of St. Jude Hospital, Dr. Ulric Mondesir who have both quietly been able to assist in resolving industrial matters between the NWU and the St. Jude Hospital.
