The Ninja Warrior competition saw eight (8) teams compete in three (3) various competitions which included 5 on 5 water volleyball, team relay time trails and individual time trails. 52 Participants represented teams such as Lime, Splash Island Water Park/Saluna Water Sports, the Body Holiday, Sea Adventures Inc (Cox and Co.), Sandals Resorts International, the Aquaholics (Ricardo Sayers), Team Gregory Joseph (aka Zombie Robot Ninja Pirates) and Bay Gardens Resorts.
In the end, the Splash Island Water Park/Saluna Water Sports team was the overall competition winners with 25 points, capturing the title of “Splash Island Ninja Warrior Champions”. Here are the full results:

1st place – Splash Island Water Park/Saluna Watersports – 1 min : 19 seconds
2nd Place – The Aquaholics (Ricardo Sayers) – 1 min : 51 seconds
3rd Place – LIME – 1 min : 52 seconds
Time Trial Challenge (Individual)
1st Place – Jonel Auguste from Splash Island Water Park/Saluna Water Sports – 1 min : 17 seconds
2nd Place – Kerwin Biscette from Sea Adventures Inc – 1 min : 33 seconds
3rd Place – Daryl Burton from Splash Island Water Park/Saluna Water Sports – 1 min : 34 seconds
4th Place – Jamie Peterkin from Bay Gardens Resorts – 1 min : 41 seconds
5th Place – Robert Jeffers from The Body Holiday – 1 min : 48 seconds
The competition was envisioned by Mr. Sanovnik Destang, Executive Director, Bay Gardens Resorts and Mrs. Julianna Ward-Destang, Managing Director, Splash Island Water Park, patterned on the popular show, American Ninja Warrior . They both expressed their gratitude to all the volunteers, participants and sponsors, which included Monster Energy Drink, Blue Waters St. Lucia, the Saint Lucia Hotel and Tourism Association (the SLHTA) , Real FM and MBC Television. Special commentator Jaime Peterkin kept the crowd going throughout the competition.
“It was great to see all the participants of the various teams give it their very best in all three competitions and showcase the talent we have in St. Lucia. This was a fun and exciting competition and we hope to hold more of these in the very near future” said Mrs. Julianna Ward Destang, Managing Director, Splash Island Water Park.
Many can catch the excitement of the Splash Island Ninja Warrior Competition when it airs in the coming weeks on MBC Television (Flow 52 and 120, LIME 27 and 42). MBC Television covered the contest from multiple camera angles, including from the sky using overhead drones.
Splash Island Water Park would like to once again congratulate all the winners and participants who gave it their all in this competition. The popular one of a kind Caribbean water park also looks to hold its first ever Splash Olympics on December 19th, 2015, which is a series of competitive events for the age groups 6-9, 10-13, and 14-17.
