Smile Patrol is back for a second season and will not only be shot in St. Lucia but in the islands of Dominica, Grenada and Barbados.

The first season, which premiered in July 2012, put smiles on the faces of 10 deserving St. Lucians, their families and friends. This year the team has committed to changing the lives of 12 people in the islands including six in St. Lucia.

The show seeks to reward and recognise people in our society who continue to assist the underprivileged, fight for a cause or play a crucial role in the development of our people, especially our youth.

Candidates are surprised by host, Janique Delmar. and enjoy days of pampering, luxury, payment of bills, gifts, great food, royalty treatment and special moments with family and friends.

Viewers all over the world have one thing in common. They all agree that Smile Patrol is a “Feel good show that gives hope, empowerment and changes perceptions”.

The show is sponsored by corporate establishments in all four islands and the governments and tourist boards of some of the islands.

The show premiered on Thursday, July 18 at The CHIC Restaurant, Royal St. Lucian with a Private Red Carpet, Black Tie Event.

Season 2 premiered on July 21 at 8 pm on DBS and premiers on Carib Vision in August with the first candidates being featured from St. Lucia, Banah and Janna Suffren from the Cutty Ranks Foundation.
