The Saint Lucia Tourist Board educates trainees on the island’s unique selling points, while launching a photo contest.
The first 12 enthusiastic diaspora association member representatives attended the inaugural Touch Point Training in Brooklyn, New York on Sunday December 6th.
Armed with enthusiasm pride and loyalty to their homeland, the group engaged in an interactive and educational dialogue of the main selling points on recommending the destination to their networks.
“I never realized there were so any things to do at home if I come for vacation” said one of the new Touch Points.
The SLTB Spot the Spot photo contest was also launched at the training.
The SLTB has launched a ‘Spot Saint Lucia’ photo contest. To take part, just look out for Saint Lucia Billboards in New Jersey, Chicago, New York and UK and bus decals in New York and Toronto, take a photo and post it on the Saint Lucia Sé Sannou Facebook page.
The winner will receive 2 main stage tickets to the 25th Anniversary St Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival. This photo contest runs until December 31st, 2015.
