PRESS RELEASE – The Phillip Marcellin Ground will come alive this weekend with the staging of the SLNCA T20 Cup Finals Weekend. A number of current and former national players will be show casing their talents for their districts- Central Castries, Laborie, Choiseul and South Castries.
On Saturday from 2pm in the first semifinal PM T20 Cup Champions Central Castries lock horns with southerners Laborie. Central Castries will have in their line up the likes of the Prosper brothers (Alleyn, Alvin, Loic), as well as Sheldon Thorpe, Greg Wilson and Gasper Prosper to name a few. Laborie will be counting on the likes of Dornan Edward, Sabinus Emmanuel(leading run scorer to date), Christian Charlery and Daren Jn Pierre.
The second match will see the South Castries Lions up against Choiseul. The Lions will have to choose from quite a few former nationals in the likes of Wade Clovis, Tonius Simon, Mervin Wells, Dwight Thomas(leading wicket taker to date), and Sherlan Isidore. The South Castries team will also have at their disposal West Indies player Daren Sammy and Johnson Charles.
Choiseul on the other hand will have in their line up the likes of Jason Simon, Valange St Ange, Audy Alexander, Vince Smith and Craig Emmanuel.
