Singer Gandolph St. Clair releases cover version of Charles Cadet’s “Poinsettia Blossoms”

music_017PRESS RELEASE – Singer / Songwriter Gandolph St. Clair has released a cover version of the Charles Cadet composition Poinsettia Blossoms during the month of November 2015.

This evergreen seasonal gem was first recorded in 1972 on the wonderful Lennie Stone rendition, recorded in London and released on the CAST label.

Since then, the Tru Tones have recorded the song with vocals by Chester Hinkson and recently Shane Ross did a cover. Given the blessings of Mr. Charles Cadet, this new reggae version of POINSETTIA BLOSSOMS was recorded in Laborie at The Mix Lab Studio with Ron Louis doing the arrangement, mixing and mastering with vocals by Gandolph St. Clair, and background vocals by Ron and Cheryl Louis.

Poinsettia Blossoms has been packaged with the cover design by Clendon Biscette of Full Spectrum Design manufactured by CRS of Barbados, to be released during the Christmas Season as a three track CD and this version of the perennial Poinsettia Blossoms, will shortly be available.
