Shirnaya Stephen joins Embassy of Saint Lucia in Washington, DC

(VIA EMBASSY FB PAGE) – The Embassy would like to welcome the newest member of the team, Ms. Shirnaya Stephen who will hold the position of First Secretary!

Steeped in the world of international trade and multilateral affairs, Ms. Stephen brings years of experiences to her post.

Ms. Shirnaya Stephen served as a Foreign Service Officer in the Departments of External Affairs and International Trade from 2011 to 2017.

During her appointment in the International Trade Department from April 2011 to February 2017, Ms. Stephen led Saint Lucia’s International Trade in Services and Investment agenda.

During this period, she also served brief attachments at the OECS Geneva Mission, where she advanced the OECS positions at the WTO.

In the Department of External Affairs, Ms. Stephen managed the bilateral relations of Saint Lucia with the Latin American, Asian, African and Pacific regions.

She holds a Master of Science degree in International Trade Policy and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mangement Studies.
